West Cork Limited Release Barrel Proof Irish Whiskey is a robust expression from West Cork Distillers, an independent distillery founded in 2003 in Skibbereen, Ireland. This cask-strength whiskey is a blend of 66% grain and 33% malt whiskeys, aged in first-fill bourbon barrels and further married in used Irish whiskey casks for six months, resulting in a bold and complex profile. 

On the nose, it presents notes of honey, malt, marzipan, dried fruit, toffee, and subtle hints of apple juice, vanilla, and banana. The palate offers flavors of orchard fruits, herbal tones, almonds, honey candy, dried banana, dried apples, malt, vanilla, and toffee, leading to a long, oily, and fruity finish with lingering almonds, honey, graham, and malt.
