West Cork Barrel Proof Irish Whiskey is a robust expression from West Cork Distillers, an independent distillery founded in 2003 in Skibbereen, Ireland. This cask-strength whiskey is a blend of 66% grain and 33% malt whiskeys, aged in first-fill bourbon barrels and bottled at a potent 62% ABV. 

On the nose, it presents rich aromas of honey, malt, marzipan, dried fruit, toffee, and subtle hints of apple juice, vanilla, and banana. The palate is full-bodied, offering flavors of orchard fruits, herbal notes, almonds, honey candy, dried banana, dried apples, malt, vanilla, and toffee. The finish is long and oily, with lingering notes of almonds, honey, graham, and malt. 

The bottle reflects the distillery's commitment to quality, featuring a design that pays homage to its West Cork heritage. This expression is a testament to the distillery's dedication to producing authentic Irish whiskey with character and depth.
