Muirhead's Silver Seal 16-Year-Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is a distinguished expression from the historic Muirhead's brand, which dates back to 1824. The Muirhead's brand was established in Edinburgh by Charles Muirhead and initially specialized in wine trading before expanding into whisky sales, establishing its iconic brand, Muirhead’s Blue Seal. In the 1920s, the company was acquired by Macdonald & Muir Distillers, better known today as the Glenmorangie Company. In 2008, it was acquired by the Tullibardine distillery, which continues to produce Muirhead's whiskies, maintaining the brand's legacy of quality and tradition. 

The bottle of Muirhead's Silver Seal 16-Year-Old is embellished with a silver seal over a plaid ribbon, printed with a longsword in front of text reading "Auxilio Dei," which translates to "By the help of God."
