Oban 21 Year Old Limited Edition is a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky from the historic Oban Distillery, established in 1794 in the coastal town of Oban, Scotland. This rare expression, part of Diageo's Special Releases, was matured for 21 years in refill European oak butts and bottled at cask strength, resulting in a full gold hue with delicate beading. 

On the nose, it presents a dry maritime aroma with warm sand, dry seaweed, and crystalline salt, complemented by hints of fruitcake, peat, menthol, linseed oil, barley sugar, wet sand, and charred timbers, followed by toasted marshmallow and lemon curd. The palate is powerful with a creamy texture, offering a balance of sweetness and salt, with notes of cocoa powder, toasted coconut, spearmint, menthol, aniseed, and hazelnut nougat. The finish is long, with considerable spice, herbal notes, drying cedar, clove, and black tea.
