Horse Soldier Straight Bourbon is a premium whiskey crafted by American Freedom Distillery, founded by U.S. Special Forces veterans known as the "Horse Soldiers" who served in Afghanistan post-9/11.  This bourbon is meticulously made from small batches of 4-year-old whiskey and is non-chill filtered, providing a full-bodied and decadent finish.  On the nose, it presents aromas of toffee, sweet corn, and apple, leading to a palate rich with flavors of caramel, vanilla, toasted corn, honey, nutmeg, and custard, with a hint of spicy oak.  The bottle design is iconic, featuring a molded glass emblem of a mounted soldier, inspired by America's Response Monument in New York City, with the molds forged from steel salvaged from the World Trade Center, symbolizing resilience and honor.  This bourbon was awarded a Double Gold Medal at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, reflecting its exceptional quality.
