Hatozaki 12-Year-Old Umeshu Cask Finish is a distinguished Japanese blended malt whisky from the Kaikyo Distillery, which is part of the Akashi Sake Brewery with a rich history in Japanese spirits production. This expression is crafted from 100% malted barley, aged for a minimum of 12 years in American oak casks, and finished for six months in casks that previously held Umeshu, a traditional Japanese plum liqueur. 

On the nose, it presents floral honey, creamy vanilla, and fresh orchard fruit aromas. The palate offers notes of cherry blossom, lavender, lychee, dried apricot, sweet peaches in cream, and toffee, leading to a finish where violets and vanilla linger. 

The bottle design reflects the distillery's commitment to quality, featuring traditional Japanese aesthetics that highlight its premium status. This whisky exemplifies the distillery's dedication to blending traditional Japanese craftsmanship with innovative finishing techniques, resulting in a unique and refined spirit.
