The Glenlivet Founder's Reserve 750ml is a single malt Scotch whisky that pays tribute to the distillery's founder, George Smith, who established The Glenlivet in 1824. This expression is crafted using a selection of aged oak casks and American first-fill oak casks, which have never before been used to mature whisky. This selective use of casks imparts a smooth, creamy sweetness that mingles harmoniously with the delicate flavors and complex fruity tones already present in the whisky. 

On the nose, it presents a typically fruity Glenlivet note, with sweet aromas of candy and toffee. The palate follows neatly from the nose, being wonderfully sweet and smooth; almost creamy, with comforting tastes such as toffee apple and pear drops. This is followed by a burst of fruit; orange and other bold citrus fruits fight for center stage. The finish is impressively sustained, lingering on those sweet, smooth tastes and welcoming aromas.
