Established in 1836, Glenfarclas, meaning "valley of the green grass," has been family-owned since 1865, with the Grant family preserving its rich heritage and traditional whisky-making methods. This 17-year-old whisky is matured exclusively in Oloroso sherry casks, imparting a rich amber hue. On the nose, it reveals complex aromas of butterscotch, sherried fruit, and a hint of peat smoke. The palate is creamy and smooth, offering flavors of dried fruits, mild spices, and oak, leading to a medium-length finish with notes of tobacco and bitter orange.
