This expression is aged for nearly a decade in American oak barrels and then finished for four months in oak casks previously used for Ortega Ice Wine from Jost Vineyards, a renowned Nova Scotia winery. This innovative maturation process imparts unique fruity and sweet characteristics to the whisky. Bottled at 40% ABV in a 700ml bottle, it offers a harmonious blend of traditional whisky flavors with the essence of ice wine. 

On the nose, Glen Breton Ice 10 Year Old presents aromas of honey, cinnamon, apples, and vanilla. The palate reveals a sweet and spicy profile with notes of grape, apple, hazelnut, cherry, ginger, wine, and cedar. The finish is long-lasting, warm, and smoky, with hints of nutmeg.
