Description

El Tesoro Extra Añejo Tequila is a premium spirit crafted from 100% estate-grown blue Weber agave, harvested in the highlands of Jalisco, Mexico. Founded in 1937 by Don Felipe Camarena, the La Alteña distillery has a rich heritage of producing exceptional tequilas using traditional methods. This Extra Añejo expression is aged for four to five years in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, imparting a vibrant gold hue and complex flavors. 

On the nose, it presents inviting aromas of coffee, cinnamon, and butter, complemented by notes of caramel. The palate offers a balanced blend of coffee, dark chocolate, dried fruits, and roasted almonds, leading to a finish with hints of pepper and oak. 

Bottled at 40% ABV in a 750ml presentation, El Tesoro Extra Añejo is best enjoyed neat to fully appreciate its rich, complex flavors, making it a refined choice for tequila enthusiasts seeking an exceptional sipping experience.
