Cayéya Reposado is a premium single-barrel tequila crafted in San Juanito de Escobedo, Jalisco, Mexico. Under the meticulous supervision of Master Destiladora Zandra Gomez, this tequila undergoes a unique aging process: nine months in re-charred American oak barrels followed by an additional 2.5 months in French wine casks. This dual maturation imparts a rich amber hue and a complex flavor profile. On the nose, it presents captivating aromas of toasted vanilla, caramel, and oak, with subtle floral notes emerging from the French oak influence. The palate is greeted with creamy vanilla and rich caramel, complemented by hints of toasted coconut and a gentle spice reminiscent of cinnamon, nutmeg, and clove. The mid-palate reveals delicate undertones of dried fruits, such as figs and raisins, leading to a long, satisfying finish with lingering notes of dark chocolate and a warming spice.
