Castle-Key Bourbon 750ml

Castle & Key Small Batch Bourbon 750ml is a testament to Kentucky's rich distilling heritage, offering a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. Crafted with a mash bill of 73% white corn, 10% rye, and 17% malted barley, this bourbon presents a nose of honey, golden raisin, brown butter, orange blossom, baked nutmeg, and stone fruit. The palate follows with notes of toffee, bread dough, dates, baking spice, and toasted almonds, culminating in a finish accented by cinnamon and allspice. 

The distillery's origins date back to 1887, when Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr. established the Old Taylor Distillery in Millville, Kentucky, drawing inspiration from European architecture to create a castle-like structure. After a period of dormancy following Prohibition, the site was revitalized in 2014 by new owners who restored its historic charm and resumed bourbon production. 

The bourbon is presented in a distinctive bottle that reflects the distillery's architectural heritage, featuring a custom design with heavy embossing and a thick glass base, embodying the brand's commitment to quality and attention to detail.
