Booker's Bourbon Batch 2021-03, known as "Bardstown Batch," is a robust expression from the renowned Booker's Bourbon collection. Aged for 6 years and 5 months, this uncut and unfiltered bourbon is bottled at a potent 125.5 proof (62.75% ABV).
On the nose, it presents rich aromas of brown sugar and caramel, balanced with bakery spice and wood sugar notes from the charred white oak barrels.
The palate is full-bodied, offering flavors of peanut brittle, oak, dried dark fruit, Christmas spice, brown sugar, and a touch of citrus and vanilla taffy.
The finish is clean and pleasant, making it an ideal pour as the weather starts to turn crisp.
The bottle maintains Booker's signature presentation, featuring a wine-style bottle with a sealed wax top, reflecting the brand's commitment to delivering bourbon in its purest form.
Booker's Bourbon was introduced in 1987 by Booker Noe, the grandson of Jim Beam and 6th generation Master Distiller, as one of the first small batch bourbons, offering uncut and unfiltered bourbon straight from the barrel.
The "Bardstown Batch" pays homage to the rich bourbon heritage of Bardstown, Kentucky, and is a testament to the brand's dedication to quality and tradition.
