Barrell DSX2 PX Cask Whiskey is a limited release whiskey blended and bottled by Barrell Craft Spirits in Louisville, KY. The Barrell Private Release Series is like a masterclass in blending—every ounce of every component changes the overall character of these whiskeys, and the barrel in which they are married makes each bottling singularly special. In this expression, a base of 14-year Indiana whiskey is blended with 18-year-old Kentucky whiskey and younger bourbon and rye for added complexity. DSX2 was finished in a cask that help Pedro Ximénez sherry, a sweet style of sherry made from sun-dried Pedro Ximénez grapes. This finish imbues the whiskey with dulcet notes of dried fig, raisin, and toffee. Non-chill filtered; bottled at a cask strength.
