Alfred Giraud Exploratory Range Voyage French Whisky

Alfred Giraud Voyage is a distinguished French malt whisky that exemplifies the Giraud family's legacy of craftsmanship and innovation. Drawing from over a century of expertise in cognac blending, the Giraud family has ventured into whisky production, creating expressions that reflect their deep understanding of wood aging and blending techniques. 

Voyage is crafted by blending two exceptional French single malts: one aged in Sauternes wine casks, imparting notes of custard, sweet grapes, and acacia honey; and the other matured in French Robinia (black locust) casks, contributing delicate white flower aromas. After blending, the whisky undergoes a final maturation in extra old cognac casks, enhancing its complexity and depth. 

On the nose, Voyage presents a harmonious bouquet of white flowers, custard, honey, black currant, and ripe grapes. The palate is soft and round, offering a sophisticated sweetness with flavors of matured sweet grape, fresh flowers, and acacia honey, all balanced by a bold structure. The finish is luxurious, with a sweet floral complexity and a subtle presence of wood.
